01 · Offline
Offline is normal.
In a basement bar, on a plane or abroad with no data, Splitkia works the same. Everything is saved on your phone first and syncs when there's a connection.
- Add, edit, delete and settle offline. No spinners, no "you're offline" pop-ups.
- Always know where you stand. A small status shows "All synced" or how many changes are waiting.
- No duplicates. Each change is sent once, even if your connection drops halfway.
- Everyone's phone agrees. When several people edit at once, every phone ends up with the same balances.

02 · Splits
Split it any way. Every penny adds up.
Type the amount on a cash-register keypad (4860 is £48.60, no decimal point needed), pick who paid and how to split. Done in seconds.
- Equally, exact amounts, percent or shares. Splitkia won't save until the numbers add up, and tells you what's left to assign.
- Several payers. Two cards on one bill? Record exactly who paid what.
- The maths is shown. £37.45 between four is £9.36 each with 1p over, and the app says who gets it, by a fixed rule every phone follows.
- Balances always add up to zero. Everything owed in a group matches everything owing, to the penny.
1p left over goes to the first person, so it adds up exactly to £37.45.

03 · Settle up
Settle up in the fewest payments.
Splitkia works out the simplest way to get everyone square, often far fewer payments than the tangle of who-paid-for-what suggests.
- Pay with the app you already use. PayPal, Monzo or UPI opens with the amount filled in. Or mark it as paid in cash.
- Splitkia never moves money. It opens your payment app, then asks if the payment went through.
- Pay part of it, or settle any pair. Record a payment between any two people in the group.
- Nudge without the awkwardness. Share a friendly reminder with your payment link.

04 · Repeating bills
Repeating bills that take turns with the penny.
Set rent, streaming or the weekly pitch once. Splitkia adds each one on schedule, for everyone in the group.
- Weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, monthly or yearly. End it never, on a date, or after a number of times.
- Skip next, pause, resume or end. Edit future bills or change the schedule without touching past ones.
- The leftover penny takes turns. When a bill doesn't split evenly, the extra 1p moves round the group, so nobody always pays it.
- Nothing stops silently. If a bill can't continue, say someone left, it pauses with a clear note and a fix.
- Phone reminders, if you want them. Turn on a reminder for any bill. It arrives at 9:00 on the day it's due.

FAQ
Questions, answered directly.
Is Splitkia free?
Yes. Splitkia is free, has no ads and has no daily limit on how many expenses you can add. Every feature on this page is included.
When can I download Splitkia?
Splitkia is coming soon to Google Play for Android phones. It is not available for iPhone.
Does Splitkia work offline?
Yes. You can add, edit and delete expenses and record payments with no signal. Changes are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you are back online. A status label shows how many changes are waiting.
Does Splitkia move or hold my money?
No. Splitkia never holds, sends or receives money. To settle up, it opens PayPal, Monzo or a UPI app with the amount filled in, or you mark a payment as cash. Then you confirm it in Splitkia.
How can I split an expense?
Equally, by exact amounts, by percent or by shares. One expense can also have several payers, and you can leave anyone out. Splits always add up to the exact amount.
What happens to the leftover penny?
When an amount does not divide evenly, the leftover pennies go to people by a fixed rule, so every phone shows the same result and the split adds up exactly. For repeating bills, the extra penny takes turns, so nobody always pays it.
Which currencies does Splitkia support?
Every currency, each with its correct number of decimals. Each group has its own currency. You choose a home currency, and your overall balance is converted into it using daily reference exchange rates, for display only.
What are repeating bills?
Expenses that add themselves on a schedule: weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, monthly or yearly. They can run forever, until a date, or a set number of times, and you can skip, pause, resume, end or edit future bills. New copies are added once your phone is online, so no one gets duplicates.
What is a payment plan?
A way to pay back a debt or a loan in fixed instalments: weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks or monthly, up to 260 instalments. Splitkia shows progress and due dates, and anyone in the group can record a payment with one tap. Nothing is paid automatically.
Can I add people who don't have the app yet?
Yes. Add them by name as a placeholder and split expenses with them straight away. When they join with your invite link, QR code or email invite, they take over their place and balance.
Will Splitkia remind me when something is due?
